I love my friends.

I adore my friends from high school. For many, many years (maybe too many to actually admit) we've been getting together once a month for dinner. The four of us giggle and talk. We've been there for each other during weddings, illness in our families, when they've had kids, you name it. Tonight was another get together. Spending time with them is like a therapy session (free, of course) and party all in one! Did I mention how much I adore my friends from hight school? I am so blessed.

Watching Charles Stanley on TV. He's talking about how God delivers us "from it" or "through it." I really admire C. Stanley. Isaiah 43 1-4 tells us not to fear.When we pass through the waters, God will be with us. When we walk through the fire, we won't be scorched. We are precious in God's sight. He is my life and my Guardian. No matter what, God will always be there. What a great reminder.

Well hello to my first blog! What to write? What to write?

I always joked as a kid and whined to my parents "LYNNderella" any time someone asked me to do something. Growing up, if asked to empty the dishwasher... I'd say "LYNNderella, LYNNderella" (joking of course).

Although, like Cinderella, I did have two sisters (not step), I was FAR from taken advantage of the way Cinderella was. I lived the picture perfect childhood and was always taken care of and loved.

I hope to use my blog just to giggle at life. I hope I don't get too serious or start venting. I just want to laugh and enjoy. Life is too short and precious to do anything else. We'll see how it goes.
